About TrenchSwap
TrenchSwap is a migration tool for Solana memecoin projects. It moves a token from the original SOL-pooled pump.fun standard to the newer USDC-pooled standard — without asking every holder to manually sell, re-buy, and rebuild their position one by one.
It is built by Untaxed, the team behind the zero-fee Untaxed Wallet, and reuses the same Solana swap, custody, and distribution infrastructure that powers the wallet.
Why migrate?
A USDC-denominated pool prices your token in dollars rather than in SOL. For many communities that means a more stable unit of account, cleaner charts, and alignment with where pump.fun liquidity is heading. TrenchSwap exists so a project can make that move collectively, in one coordinated event, rather than leaving every holder to fend for themselves.
How it works
- Create a campaign. A project signs up and configures the migration: the old mint, the new token’s name/symbol/image, a deadline, and a minimum participation threshold.
- Holders deposit. Each campaign gets a unique, public pooling address. Holders send their old tokens there before the deadline. Deposits are reconciled on-chain and pro-rata shares are computed.
- Sell & redeploy. The pooled tokens are sold to USDC through Jupiter, a new USDC-pooled pump.fun token is deployed, and bought back with the proceeds.
- Distribute. The new token is sent back to each depositor’s original wallet in the same proportion they contributed.
On slippage
Selling an entire pool moves the price — there is no way around that. But any holder re-entering the new token individually would pay comparable slippage on the way back in. By pooling the migration, that cost is shared proportionally across all participants instead of being paid twice, and every swap is bounded by a slippage guardrail.
Custody & transparency
In this version, TrenchSwap is custodial: during the migration window, deposits are held in an Untaxed-controlled pooling wallet. To offset that trust, the pooling address is published before anyone deposits, and every on-chain action — the sell, the token creation, the buy, and each distribution — is recorded with a public transaction signature that anyone can verify.
